Cycling
The Galloping Goose Trail is widely used by both locals and visitors for cycling around the Sooke area. Many B&B’s are close at hand to the Trail and many hikers and cyclists enjoy the convenience of walking out the door onto the Goose. You can buy and repair quality bikes and accessories at:

Surfing
The best surfing can be found in the Jordan River and Sombrio Beach areas, although the locals have a couple of secret spots as well. The Juan de Fuca Strait is open to powerful breakers from the Pacific Ocean.
